With the aim of creating the basis for a comprehensive white paper for the implementation of a circular economy in the construction industry, the project consortium conducted 21 qualitative interviews with representatives from seven stakeholder groups. During the evaluation, the most important hurdles and levers were identified and good practice examples were collected. From the discussions with the experts, essential key areas were identified that are relevant for a successful strategy of a circular economy in the construction industry in Austria.

The final report on the KreislaufBAUwirtschaft project was published in June 2021 together with a press release.
