CONDEREFF – Construction & demolition waste management policies for improved resource efficiency – is a EU-funded project that aims to promote sustainable waste management in constructions and demolitions in participating regions. The CONDEREFF project brings together 8 partners from 7 countries  to exchange experiences and good practice examples in dealing with construction and demolition waste. The project aims to support the participating regions in achieving goals related to resource efficiency and sustainability.

Our task was to develop recommendations for the CONDEREFF partners to support their regional, "trust-building" meetings to improve public perception, awareness and acceptance of the use of recycled building materials or re-use components. These recommendations are intended to increase the confidence of all those involved in the value chain to move forward from existing procedures towards a management of C&D waste supporting recycling in the construction sector.
